Takenoya Ryokan started its history 140 years ago. It is located 200 m south of of Izumo-Taisha Grand Shrine. Here, Guests can savor Japanese Kaiseki course dinner while viewing the on-site traditional gardens. Each guest room includes a flat-screen satellite TV as well as a private bathroom. Selected rooms offer garden views. Guests can purchase traditional crafts of Izumo area at the gift shop by the 24-hour front desk at the property. This property is a ryokan, which is a type of traditional Japanese Inn.

The national treasure Zao-do is world heritage,too. It's a symbol of Yoshino. Our inn the closest to Zao-do. Yoshinosou YUKAWAYA is a traditional Japanese and Yoshino style building made with local Yoshinowoods. Our dishes is a traditional one with Yoshino Kudzu(Japanese arrowroot starch).
