Which Type of Ryokan Will You Choose ?

Whether there is a hot spring bath or not, there are large modern ryokans in almost all the major tourist locations. If you wish to enjoy all the benefits of an abundance of facilities, convenience, recreation, etc., it's best to stay at a large and lively ryokan. A large ryokan will have various types of guestroom, a spacious lobby, a large garden, daiyokujo (large common bath) with many types of bath, great banquet halls where a stage can be set up, conference rooms, a large dining room, as well as commercial facilities including restaurants and coffee shops, karaoke rooms, game centers, as well as souvenir shops and other stores for shopping. If you are coming in a party with leisure as the main purpose, you will probably be able to do everything you planned inside the ryokan and annexed facilities. But even in these large ryokans, you will still find elements of traditional culture peculiar to the Japanese ryokan almost everywhere, and you will be able to relax in luxury, Japanese style.

So, which type of ryokan will you choose? Don't forget that at all ryokans, the Okami and her staff will be looking forward to welcoming you in the near future.
